Our Sunset Sessions solstice music event at Wallasey Beach Club was one for the books. Hosted by Northern Kites and set against the stunning backdrop of the beach, it was an unforgettable evening that drew over 200 people together as one big, happy community.
With soaring electronic violin melodies and house DJs spinning beats as the sun melted into the horizon, the atmosphere felt truly magical. “We could be in Ibiza,” one guest remarked, while another dubbed it the “Costa del Wallasey” — and we couldn’t agree more.
The crowd was a vibrant mix of kitesurfers, paddleboarders, sailors, swimmers, local residents, and beach lovers — all united by the joy of being together in one of the most special places on the Wirral. Whether you were up dancing, chatting with friends, or just soaking in the vibes, this was a rare kind of event that brought our community together in a truly meaningful way.
And what a community it is. In just four short years, Wallasey Beach Club has grown from 35 members to over 1,200 — a true testament to the passion and commitment of everyone involved. Our club is a Community Interest Company (CIC), which means we’re not-for-profit and every penny goes straight back into making the club even better. Thanks to the generous support of our members — with many kindly donating to help improve our facilities — we’ve been able to keep reinvesting in this amazing space that brings people together.
Long-lasting friendships and memories were formed at this special solstice session, the kind that remind us just how lucky we are to have this stretch of coast and this wonderful club.
