I had a lesson with Adam and the progression I felt was unreal- he spoke directly to me from the boat using an earpiece: "weight on your front foot", "move your back foot back a couple of inches", "Let go of your backhand, and switch your feet", He really knows his craft and his immediate feedback saved me days of toiling on my own on the water. I'd highly recommend him. I was foiling after 2 lessons.
Just did my first lesson yesterday. Honestly, I haven't smiled for that long in one day. Instructor Nigel was absolutely amazing—very experienced, with loads of knowledge, and he explained everything very clearly. I definitely would recommend this place as I haven't had so much fun in a while. Looking forward to another lesson very soon.
Had a fantastic wing foiling lesson with Adam from Northern Kites yesterday. He was very helpful and patient choosing the right gear for me. He also made great effort to wait for the correct weather conditions before confirming the lesson time and date. As a result I got up on the foil doing some fairly controlled flights for the first time. I can definitely recommend Adam and his team
Just had my 4th lesson today and starting to get used to the board. All the instructors that I’ve had over the last few weeks have been great. (Nigel,Carl and Tom). All very knowledgeable and helpful in helping me learn the sport. All explain the techniques needed very clearly and are all very patient! I have no gear and this is all available to hire or is included within the course price (zero to hero kite surf course) and is of great quality. Changing rooms/shower/toilets are available onsite. Lovely location. Beach is very clean and the sea I believe is a blue flag beach. I think I just need more confidence and more Dutch courage then hopefully it will click! Trying to get my 50yr old brain to keep telling me it won’t hurt when I wipe out! Cheers guys.
